20 Years of Sweet Tradition: The Westmorland Honey Festival

The Imperial Valley Regional Chamber of Commerce proudly celebrated a major milestone with the 20th Annual Westmorland Honey Festival, a cherished community tradition that brings together agriculture, local businesses, and families from across the Imperial Valley.

Traditionally held each November, the festival was postponed due to weather conditions and successfully took place on January 17, 2026, continuing a celebration that has honored the region’s beekeeping heritage for two decades.

Hosted in the City of Westmorland, widely recognized as the Honey Capital of the World, the festival highlights the vital role bees play in agriculture, sustainability, and the Imperial Valley economy. Over the years, the event has grown into one of the region’s most recognizable traditions, celebrating the agricultural roots that continue to shape the Valley.

The 20th anniversary festival welcomed residents and visitors for a day filled with educational exhibits, local vendors, family friendly activities, and live entertainment. From honey themed treats to agricultural displays, the festival shines a light on the importance of pollinators while creating a space for the community to gather and celebrate local culture.

This milestone celebration was made possible through the generous support of sponsors and community partners.
