The Imperial Valley Regional Chamber of Commerce (IVRCC) brought the community together in a spectacular way on Saturday, July 4, 2026. The 2nd Annual IVRCC Celebrates America Drone Show at the Imperial Valley Fairgrounds honored 250 years of American history with a memorable Independence Day celebration. Thousands of attendees from across the Imperial Valley gathered to enjoy an evening filled with local flavors, live music, community spirit, and a breathtaking patriotic drone show.

A Night of Community and Celebration


The event kicked off at 6:00 p.m., inviting families and friends to explore a variety of food and community vendor booths. Community organizations showcased their services and products, creating a lively atmosphere that encouraged connection and support among residents.


Live music was a highlight of the evening, with the band Pure Magik performing at the Grandstands before the drone show. Their energetic set set the tone for the night, blending perfectly with the festive mood.

The drone show was the centerpiece of the event, offering a stunning visual tribute to America’s 250 years of history. The synchronized drones painted the night sky with patriotic images and symbols, including sponsor logos from local Imperial Valley Businesses captivating the audience with their precision and creativity.

A special moment during the drone staging process involved three local Imperial Valley students who were selected to work alongside the professional drone company. This opportunity gave them hands-on experience in drone technology and event production, highlighting the Chamber’s commitment to fostering local talent and education.

Bringing the Imperial Valley Together


The 2nd Annual IVRCC Celebrates America Drone Show was more than an Independence Day celebration. By replacing traditional fireworks with a drone show, the event created a more inclusive celebration for individuals with noise sensitivities, including members of the autism community, families with young children, veterans, and even pets.
