Below is a recent communication shared by the Office of California Attorney General Rob Bonta regarding a federal court ruling involving recent tariff measures and their impact on businesses and consumers nationwide.

According to the Office of the Attorney General, a federal court issued a final order invalidating the Trump Administration’s latest tariff measures under Section 122 of the Trade Act of 1974. The ruling states that the tariffs were imposed unlawfully and were contributing to increased costs for businesses and consumers.
Attorney General Rob Bonta stated that the decision represents a significant outcome for businesses and families affected by rising prices and trade-related costs.
