IVRCC Celebrates Outgoing President with a Beachy Bash

The Imperial Valley Regional Chamber of Commerce (IVRCC) hosted a Regional Mixer, where guests, board members, and staff congratulated and celebrated with the IVRCC Outgoing President, Anne Irigoyen, Friday, June 16, 2023.
Irigoyen was presented with gifts, flowers, and other items to commemorate her time as the IVRCC Board President from 2021-2023.
Los Vigilantes presented Irigoyen with a plaque to recognize her years of dedication to the community and the Chamber.
The IVRCC announced the reorganization of its Board of Directors at the regular board meeting on June 14, 2023, where Sherry Cowie was announced as the new president. Cowie will begin her presidency on July 1, 2023.
Cowie presented an award to Irigoyen on behalf of the Imperial Valley Regional Chamber of Commerce to thank Irigoyen for her time with both the El Centro Chamber of Commerce and the IVRCC.
Anne said, "I wish Sherry the best for her term as president, and encourage her to enjoy working with our wonderful members! She will be fortunate to meet new business associates and future friends while serving as president for the Imperial Valley Regional Chamber. Sherry is my top pick for filling this leadership position, and I am confident we will see amazing development and growth in our Chamber. Blessings for an amazing 2 years!"






At the June 14 board meeting, Sherry Cowie was named the new IVRCC President, officially beginning her role on July 1, 2023.
