A Grand Opening was hosted at Golden State Extracts' new location in Imperial, Thursday, December 8, 2022. The celebration of their new spot culminated in a Ribbon Cutting, tour of their new facility and equipment, and a Regional Mixer on their loading dock, which was decorated according to the Christmas Holiday.
“I know that what you’re doing here is a gift for our community, and we appreciate that. I’d like to thank you for all you’ve done, especially through the pandemic … We’re all still learning from it and growing from it,” said IVRCC President Anne Irigoyen prior to the big snip of the red ribbon.
Located at 520 West Aten Road in Imperial, Golden State Extracts continues to offer a variety of products to the community.
“There were a lot of sleepless nights putting this thing together, and it actually does benefit people. I wish more people would understand that without the stigma of the THC background. I appreciate the Chamber, I appreciate the City of Imperial for actually allowing us to come in here … and then of course, Imperial County also,” said Co-Owner Andrew Currier.
Andrew co-owns the business with his brother, John Currier.
According to their website, Golden State Extracts is associated with Imperial CBD Extraction. Imperial CBD Extraction is the first licensed GMP-certified hemp processor and extractor in the Imperial Valley.
