IVRCC Supports Regional Voter Education Efforts Ahead of June 2nd Election Day

The Imperial Valley Regional Chamber of Commerce (IVRCC) was proud to collaborate with the Coalition of Labor, Agriculture & Business (COLAB) and the Brawley Chamber of Commerce in supporting a series of Primary Election Candidate Forums aimed at educating voters and encouraging civic participation throughout Imperial Valley.

Over the course of several forums held during May, candidates seeking local and state offices were provided an opportunity to share their perspectives, discuss issues impacting the region, and engage directly with community members. Residents were also encouraged to submit questions, helping ensure that the discussions reflected the priorities and concerns of Imperial Valley voters.

The forums served as an important resource for voters seeking information ahead of the June 2, 2026 Primary Election and highlighted the value of community collaboration in fostering informed civic engagement.

As a regional organization committed to strengthening the communities we serve, IVRCC believes that informed participation in the electoral process contributes to a stronger future for Imperial Valley. Through partnerships like these, organizations can work together to create opportunities for education, dialogue, and community involvement.

With Election Day taking place tomorrow, June 2, IVRCC encourages all eligible voters to make their voices heard by casting their ballots.

California voters have the option to vote by mail or in person at designated voting locations. Voters are encouraged to review election resources, confirm voting information, and participate in the democratic process.

We extend our appreciation to COLAB, the Brawley Chamber of Commerce, Imperial Valley College, participating candidates, Sher Cowie, Interim CEO and IVRCC President for moderating these forums, volunteers, and community members who helped make this forum series possible.
