Care Beyond Medicine: Dr. Sohaib Tariq Named August 2026 IVRCC STAR Award Recipient

That ability to listen, reassure and treat people with genuine care is at the heart of the nomination that earned Dr. Sohaib Tariq of Tariq Cardiovascular, Vein and Wellness Center recognition as the August 2026 Imperial Valley Regional Chamber of Commerce STAR Award recipient.

Dr. Tariq’s work in the Imperial Valley extends across cardiovascular health, vascular care and wellness.

Through Tariq Cardiovascular, Vein and Wellness Center, his practice provides cardiovascular diagnostics and treatment, vein and vascular services, preventive care and wellness services. His professional work also extends into clinical research focused on cardiovascular and internal medicine treatments.

While his medical expertise is an important part of his work, his STAR Award nomination focused on something equally meaningful: how he makes people feel while they are in his care.
