WaterFly CarWash Makes Its Southern California Debut in El Centro

A family business that started with a father and son has made the move south, choosing El Centro for its newest California location.

The Imperial Valley Regional Chamber of Commerce recently joined WaterFly Car Wash to celebrate the Grand Opening and Ribbon Cutting on August 27,2026 of its new location at 2180 N. Waterman Ave. in El Centro, marking another step in the company's growth and its entrance into Southern California.

From Sacramento to the Imperial Valley

WaterFly Car Wash began in 2019 and grew to two locations in the Sacramento area before expanding south.

Now operating three locations across California, the family owned business is bringing its approach to car care and customer service to the Imperial Valley.

Owner Trevor McKnight and El Centro Site Manager Aaron Green are leading the local operation, with the company's mission centered on a straightforward goal: to wow its customers.

That philosophy is reflected not only in the wash itself, but in the overall experience WaterFly hopes customers have each time they visit.

More Than an Express Wash

The El Centro location offers express car washes along with self service areas where customers can vacuum and dry their vehicles. WaterFly also provides towels and air fragrances, adding conveniences that allow customers to finish their car care experience on site.

Hospitality is another important part of the company's approach. As WaterFly establishes itself in El Centro, its team is focused on combining those services with an experience that keeps customers coming back.
