The Imperial Valley Regional Chamber of Commerce (IVRCC) announced its selection of the Business of the Month for the month of June 2023 on Thursday, June 1, at Nana's Kitchen in the City of Imperial.
Brenda began her business in 2018 with her mother and brother. As a family business, they have persevered through the uncertainty of COVID along with many other family-owned businesses throughout the County, State, and Country. While it may not have always been easy, it was Brenda's dream to see the business soar.
"I started my business in 2018 with my mom and brother by selling tacos from my car all over the County. God opened doors, and now we’re going for 5 years with our restaurant. I’ve faced many challenges, but I was determined to make it happen," she said.
Nana's Kitchen has demonstrated outstanding support to the community and the IVRCC, provided superior customer service and products, and is considered a successful and professional business by peers.
"I love serving my community and making a difference," said Brenda. "I’m currently a Board Member of the Imperial Valley Regional Chamber, Kiwanis Club in El Centro, Mana Imperial Valley, and the Brown Bag Coalition."
About Brenda:
I’m 38 years old, happily married for 18 years, and I have two beautiful kids – Bella, 12, and Nehemiah, 8. I’m the owner of Nana’s Kitchen Mexican restaurant located in the City of Imperial.
"My goal is to inspire and motivate others to dream and work for what they love and are passionate about. Dreams come true with hard work and dedication," she said.
